About Chelsea Spencer
For over a decade, I have advocated for societal change for girls and women's rights in sport.
Leveraging my involvement in women's soccer at the Provincial and National levels, I've established an
enterprise dedicated to improving access for young female athletes. Collaborative efforts with sports
governing bodies like Ontario Soccer, League1 Ontario, Halton Field Hockey, and the Coaches Association of Ontario, and transformative equity workshops for Canadian sports leadership, highlight my commitment to intersectionality and gender parity in sport.
Personal experiences as a visible minority within youth soccer and education have driven my
commitment to mentorship and coaching for the next generation of female athletes. I am on a relentless pursuit to ensure that my efforts continue to break barriers and create the right opportunities for girls and racialized people in sport.
